Then I can help you! With my background of over 22 years working in corporate learning and development, I absolutely understand and have experienced these struggles myself.
That is why I have developed the Pilates & Wellness offer that I work with today. Different tools that I have learnt about and practiced, that have supported my own wellbeing and positive mindset.
The first of theses was Pilates.
Rewind ten years ago and I was struggling with chronic shoulder pain, due to sitting at a desk all day, becoming more sedentary and travelling with work. It was at this time I turned back to Pilates, which I practiced many years previously. Experiencing the benefits for myself was the motivation and inspiration to train to become a Pilates teacher, so I could share the benefits that I had experienced with others.
My next interest was around positive mindset tools such as journaling and brain hacks to help with stress and anxiety. Then mindfulness, which I didn't understand fully and thought was just another word for meditation. However really learning about this concept helped me during the pandemic. I still practice today to help with the demands of life - juggling my corporate job, my Pilates business and home life.
And this is why I created Serenity Sessions - encompassing movement, meditation and mind, to bring you into the present moment, to allow you to experience relaxation and calm, and just step away from the busyness of life.
